Excessive Sweating

Hyperhidrosis is the condition of sweating excessively. Excessive sweating can have a number of underlying causes and while it often doesn’t mean anything is seriously wrong, it can have a significant impact both personally and socially. It is different from sweating during exercise or physical activities. You may be sweating excessively when your body does not need to cool down causing clammy hands, stained cloths etc A popular treatment for Hyperhidrosis is Botulinum toxin type A. This is gently injected into the affected areas. The toxin will block the chemical that activates the sweat glands, enabling you to stay dry. You will start to see results in around five days and the treatment is effective for up to 6 months.
